The Daily Telegraph invents ‘hiberdating’
According to the Telegraph, ‘hiberdating’ is a new American buzzword used to describe starting a new relationship during fall and winter.
As the founder of a dating site based in Southern California I’ve never heard of hiberdating, and a quick Google search reveals 30 (there are no zeros or decimal points missing in that number) references.
J’ACUSE TELEGRAPH!
Not only are you re-printing a press-release fromYahoo! Personals, you don’t even have the testicular fortitude to check the veracity of your copy. As for the suggested reasons for the failure of wintertime relationships – a lack of daylight and the stress of the holidays – wouldn’t that mean divorce rates would be highest furthest from the equator? Shouldn’t you have checked that?
Pathetic.
